Our ABA therapy services

BCBA-designed, play-based ABA for children ages 2–12 — delivered two ways and funded through EIDBI and insurance. A BCBA builds one program around your child; the setting and funding are simply how that program is delivered and paid for.

Where therapy happens

Both types of ABA therapy carry the same BCBA-led care — the setting is what changes. You choose one, and where you live doesn't decide which.

Center-based therapy in Golden Valley

Structured, play-based learning in sensory-friendly rooms built for ABA, with planned peer moments a home setting can't offer.

  • Group activities matched to each child's goals
  • School-readiness routines: arrivals, transitions, turn-taking

In-home therapy across the Twin Cities

The same BCBA-led care in your child's own routines — mealtimes, siblings, bedtime and all — across 29 Twin Cities communities.

  • Parents and siblings welcomed into sessions
  • Caregiver coaching as a core part of the plan

Weighing the two? Our in-home vs. center-based guide walks through the trade-offs — and if a setting stops working, you and your BCBA can switch to the other.

How care is paid for

Most Minnesota families pay nothing out of pocket. We help you figure out coverage and handle the paperwork.

EIDBI

Minnesota's EIDBI benefit covers intensive therapy like ABA, and most families we work with pay $0 out of pocket. We're an enrolled EIDBI provider and help with the paperwork.

The CMDE evaluation

Before EIDBI can fund therapy, a CMDE confirms it's medically necessary. We arrange it through independent partner agencies — evaluators we vouch for but don't employ — so the people who assess your child never bill the hours.

Insurance & funding

Not sure what covers ABA in Minnesota? We'll walk you through the coverage we accept and the paths into it, so you know what to expect before you start.

Common questions about our services

A few quick answers — each one links to the page with the full picture.

  • What ages do you serve?

We provide ABA therapy for children ages 2–12. Every program is designed and supervised by a BCBA around that child's own goals.

  • Do you offer both in-home and center-based therapy?

We offer both, and your family chooses one of them: center-based ABA at our Golden Valley center, or in-home ABA across the Twin Cities metro. Your child's program runs in a single setting, not split across the two.

  • Do I have to choose one setting?

Yes. Families choose either center-based or in-home — we don't split a schedule across both settings. Distance doesn't decide it for you: the center is open to any family who can get their child there and back, and in-home is available across the metro. If the setting isn't working, you and your BCBA can move to the other one. Our in-home vs. center-based guide walks through the trade-offs.

  • Where do you provide services?

Center-based therapy runs at our Golden Valley center, open to any family who can get their child there and back. In-home therapy is available across 29 Twin Cities communities. Our locations page lists every city, with drive times to the center.

  • What will it cost?

Most Minnesota families pay $0 out of pocket through EIDBI. See what coverage we accept for the details.

Not sure where to start? That's okay. Most families aren't.
